A Tale of Two Trees for Tree Tuesday

Hi there everyone around the world, reveling in the awesomeness of amazing nature.

Wandering around Buchan, after a tour of the extraordinary Royal Cave to see Mother Earth's hidden magic and majesty here.....https://peakd.com/hive-155530/@chocolatescorpi/a-wenesday-walk-in-the-deep-depths-of-royal-cave-at-the-buchan-caves-gippsland-victoria I emerged from the womb of the Mother into the light of heaven on earth and met these magnificent beauties as they guarded the forest and they thought that I was worthy enough to tell me a story, so I hope that you enjoy the story as much as I did (writing it...🤣..)

One day there were two tall trees standing side-by-side side on the hill, gazing out over the valley enjoying the last of the autumn sunshine.

One tall tree- his body and arms darkened with age, had his arm around the other tree, while the other young tree- his body flushing red with shame, was lamenting about the fact that he was so skinny.

His friend stretched his branch out and put it around the younger trees shoulders and he said look, look at all the other wonderful trunks down there.

They're are all shapes and sizes.

Some fat and some thin.

Some have wrinkled faces, etched through years of life.

Others have many lines representing each time an animal has climbed up and down their trunks

Each one down there is a completely wonderful, beautiful, amazing, gorgeous, sensational, extraordinary, brilliant tree just like yourself.

You are unique. You are one of a kind and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact being a unique, being different is to be celebrated and revered.

And you know what buddy, half of those trees down there are probably looking up here right now and thinking how they would like to be much skinnier like you.

And it doesn’t matter whether you’re standing Tall. Or you’re lying flat on the ground, bent sideways, curvy or straight, you’ll always bee needed and you will always be appreciated by all the beings that climb up and down your trunk, rest on your branches and use your leaves as shelter and food.

So you are wanted and you are worthy of everyone’s love- just like that tree down there lying on the ground- now that he has passed on, thinking he's ugly and worthless, but he's neither, for he will become the beloved shelter, the refuge and the home for so many other little beings in this forest.

So he, like you is unique, beautiful and needed.

The tall young tree, now seeing the unique beauty in all the trees around him, understood what the wise old tree was seeing and he stood taller, prouder and flushed even redder with pride and a new sense of his place and importance in this magical forest all the trees called home.
